The AMP – Atelier for Modern Psychoanalysis –  was created in 1996 as a forum for psychoanalytic psychotherapists from different backgrounds. One of its central intentions was and has been to study and discuss without any prejudice or bias all forms of theories which consider themselves as belonging to the tradition of psychoanalysis, created by Freud. Particular attention is given to post-freudian developments and what one could consider the most advanced and “modern” strands of psychoanalysis before and after the millennium.
