Out of the FaceBook Swamp into my Lion’s Den

It has been on my mind for a long time. Facebook has become intolerable and unacceptable in many ways but it needs some alternative. I looked around, did not find yet a good one and decided to create something of my own: WORKS and inside of it the beginning of a place to meet and exchange ideas, projects, plans and biographical news. I called this place on the website “Community” and thought I could offer a page with a Forum and a PinWall and a kind of market place, free from harvesting of data and selling for profit. I noticed quickly that a project like that was a good idea but totally out of range of my expertise and my Happy Depression Productions company which counts as owner only one Pharao with his only slave which is the Pharaoh himself. I thought I have to wait for Web3 and put my hope in many others who like him are already beavering on a new kind of non-corporate internet. My hope has not died but today’s realities of social media makes fun of it and theatens its foundations. I however decided not to give up thinking about and hoping for a place where the lions defend the idea and reality of truth against the sale of lies as its “alternative versions”.
