Alles hängt von der Perspektive und Sensibilität des Betrachters ab.

Beide Versionen sind wohl richtig.

Harmless or uncanny

Is he cutting grass for the family? Or is he practising how to get rid of them?

All depends on the perspective and sensitivity of the onlooker.

Both versions seem correct.
