No idea how it feels to be born here, to live here, in this town – like others in this amazing countryside – where signs remind you of help centres for drug addicts, for people threatened by suicidal feelings and in desperate need to be saved by Jesus Christ. A god-forsaken place next to a most beautiful canyon. What do people live on here? How must it feel? And suddenly the thunderstorm, the tornado-like high winds, the rush for shelter – followed by a rainbow, above a building which looks like a high-security prison, and a stop sign in the middle of an empty place with no cross roads or notion of traffic needing to be regulated. A good moment for a photographer, but how does it feel, to live here?
